Prior to his graduate studies, Skardon served as Chief Speechwriter and Policy Assistant to Governor George W. Skardon is a graduate of Harvard University and received his MBA from Harvard Business School and JD from the University of Texas School of Law. Skardon started his financial services career at JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor organizations where he was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Prior to joining Apollo in 2012, Skardon was Managing Director with The Carlyle Group’s distressed debt investment vehicle and Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management before that.
He is also a member of the European Management Committee.
